256 CHANNEL PULSE HEIGHT ANALYSER FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERW. Antoniak, B. Machaj Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology, Dorodna 16, 03-195 Warsaw, Poland Pulse height analyser with 256 channels for applications with scintillation and proportional counters has been developed. It employs ready made monolithic 8 bit analog-to-digit converter supplemented by peak voltmeter and control circuit that are needed for operation of pulse height analyser. The analyser has the form of a single card that can be placed in I/O edge connector of the IBM PC computer or compatible. The conversion time with 12 MHz clock computer is less than 22 ms. The amplitude of input pulses is 0 ¸ 5 V with positive polarity. Input resistance is 3 kW. Close X |
