The experiments were carried out on the external beam of the U-400 cyclotron. In order to compare the effects of hardening by heavy ions and neutrons, the samples have been also irradiated in the pulse reactor IBR-2, JINR, Dubna and in the WWR-M type research reactor EWA, Świerk. The dose dependence as a function of the change of the Zr yield stress has been investigated. It is shown that the same level of Zr hardening irradiated by neutrons and ions is observed at essentially different damages dose. The possible reasons of such discrepancy are discussed. Close X |
