PHASE BEHAVIOUR IN CONFINED GEOMETRY VIA POSITRONIUM ANNIHILATION SPECTROSCOPYH. M. Fretwell, J. A. Duffy, A. P. Clarke, S. B. Dugdale, M. A. Alam, R. Evans H. H. Wills Physics Laboratory, University of Bristol, Tyndall Ave., Bristol BS8 1TL, United Kingdom Positronium annihilation spectroscopy has recently been successfully applied to the study of phase behavior of fluids confined in nano-pores. In this paper we provide a brief survey of the power of the new technique in mapping out the phase diagram in confinement and in elucidating some intricate phase behavior. Close X |
