NUMERICAL METHODS IN RESONANCE LINE SHAPE ANALYSISAndrzej B. Wieckowski Institute of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Technology, Pedagogical University, pl. Slowianski 6, 65-069 Zielona Gora, Poland, and Institute of Molecular Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Smoluchowskiego 17/19, 60-179 Poznan, Poland With the aim of simplifying the analysis of a resonance line described by either the Lorentz function or the Gauss function, the four coordinate systems were proposed for each of these curves, in which linearization of the function can be obtained. Six of these cases require integration of the resonance line, whereas for two differentiation is needed. A formula for the approximation of the exchange-narrowed line shape function given. Close X |
