MAIN ASPECTS AND LESSONS FROM THE ITER PROJECT GOVERNANCECarlos Varandas Instituto de Plasmas e Fusao Nuclear, Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, Avenida Rovesco Pais, 1049-001 Lisboa, Portugal ITER (International Tokamak Experimental Reactor), presently under construction at Cadarache, is a very important project in the path towards a nuclear fusion power plant. This paper addresses the main key aspects of the ITER governance, trying to take lessons for future international projects to be carried out in a world dominated by a global economy. Close X |
